Isak has left the Magpies stunned by telling the club he wants to leave this summer amid transfer interest from Liverpool and Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. Chairman Al-Rumayyan and PIF are now set to have the final say in an "unusual" move by the Magpies, according to the . Al-Rumayyan "usually takes a back seat" when it comes to running the club but PIF want him to take charge, and not manager Howe, due to the significance of the decision.
